Bessie Nails wants everyone to be able to shop our site, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Here's what that means on our site:

• Every product photo has a written description of the nails shown, including shape, length, colors and design details.
• Pages can be navigated with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
• Text and buttons are checked for color contrast.
• Forms, including our email sign-up, have labels that screen readers can announce.
• Pages use proper headings so they're easy to scan with assistive technology.

We review the site regularly and when we add new products and pages.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site come from outside services, such as product reviews, checkout and payment. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we don't control all of their content. If anything gets in your way, please let us know and we'll help.
